Keep It Together
Dramedy 8 x 30 min that charters two adult sisters' altered relationships as they are faced with their father's Alzheimer disease.
Keep It Together is a dramedy series about 40-year-old nurse Lina Edin and her life in small town Sweden. Lina works at the E.R. and lives alone with her 14-year-old twins Molly and Melvin. Lina’s two years older sister Petra lives close by with her family. When their father Kenneth is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, life changes drastically for both sisters, starting with Kenneth moving into Lina’s house.
Lina’s sense of responsibility is as strong as her impulse control is weak. She is well-spoken and fast thinking. Keep It Together is about a working-class family, used to playing the cards they are dealt, and accepting the circumstances of life. A workday will wear you out completely. Weekends are for celebrating. Nobody sees themselves as a victim. Self-respect, happiness, and pride look entirely different here, than they do in an upper-class area. It’s fun to be around Lina and her family. The relationships are defined by humour, levity, empathy, and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
